Sulevain Islands
The northern archipelago of islands that cover a surprisingly large area. The islands are just far enough apart to be seen on the horizons, and they are all mostly low shrub and bushes. Birds favor the isolated islands for hatching their young. There is the ever present danger of wildlife from the sea coming ashore to prey on the birds, but over generations they have learned to nest further inland to avoid their hungry teeth. Other natural predators cannot make the journey to these remote havens, but diseases from the accumulation of waste can cause waves of trajedy among the young chicks.
Rocky outcroppings are scattered throughout, some protruding on the beaches and lurking silently beneath the waves. The beaches are also shared with some non-threatening sealife that like to come ashore to rest in the sun during the warmer periods when the noisy birds are not mating or hatching.
